[EveryNews = Reporter Kim Ji-ho] According to the results of the second week of October regular opinion poll (conducted over two days, October 9–10, 2026), commissioned by EveryNews Co., Ltd. and conducted bi-weekly by the professional polling agency Every Research Co., Ltd., party support was as follows: Democratic Party of Korea 31.0%, People Power Party 34.6%, Rebuilding Korea Party 9.0%, Reform Party 2.4%, Progressive Party 2.2%, Liberty Unification Party 2.1%, other parties 3.7%, no supporting party 13.6%, and don't know 1.3%.
Compared to the third week of August poll conducted over two days on August 21–22, the Democratic Party of Korea fell by 0.7%p and the People Power Party fell by 2.0%p, resulting in a 3.6%p gap between the two parties, which is within the margin of error.
According to the party support survey by age group, the Democratic Party held a lead outside the margin of error over the People Power Party in the 40s age group, while the People Power Party held a lead outside the margin of error over the Democratic Party in the 30s, 60s, and 70+ age groups. In the 18–29 and 50s age groups, the support for both parties was found to be in a close race within the margin of error.
It is noteworthy that the Rebuilding Korea Party appeared in the 10% range among the 18–29, 40s, and 50s age groups in this survey.
