Moving from an Avante to a Sonata, the size difference is really noticeable

I've seen some posts about this, but it feels like modern cars are getting bigger and bigger, making parking quite a struggle.
Even so, when I drove a compact car or an Avante, I never really trembled with anxiety over parking, but now that I'm driving a Sonata, the increased size is so obvious that I can't see the front well and I can't quite gauge the dimensions. Whenever I enter a building parking lot, I get so nervous that I end up reversing out and trying again.
