Even traveling abroad these days

I feel like the gap is getting even wider depending on what your job is and the resulting difference in income. People with good jobs take a few days off to go abroad, whereas those in lower income brackets or with less stable jobs tend to just stay home... There are many people in my apartment complex who are always staying indoors or are struggling financially, so I'm being a bit cautious about how I act. I'm leaving this vent here because I'm planning to go abroad soon. I think this is why poverty is so scary.
