The recent iPhone Duo hinge issue is likely an Apple problem, not a problem with component manufacturers
The main difference between a foldable phone and a standard bar-type phone is simply the folding panel and the hinge.
However, foldable phones are not a new concept; all the references were established during the early stages of foldable phones from Samsung and Chinese smartphone companies, so it is only natural that Apple was well aware of these issues.
Regarding the causes being discussed in the current iPhone Duo issue, opinions are pointing to problems during the process of Apple trying to make the crease less visible than Samsung's foldable phones,
such as the hinge design, the wider application of liquid metal materials in the hinge, and the additional processing performed after receiving panels from Samsung Display.
This is a problem that Apple must solve, and it should be viewed as something that is not the fault of Foxconn, which performs simple assembly, or the core component suppliers.
