Review of my visit to the Yeosu Island Expo.. I went yesterday, Saturday.

I went with my parents, wife, and baby, and personally, my impressions aren't much different from what others are feeling.
They tried to cover all the bases, but the details were significantly lacking. There were various themes, but the compositions lacked structure and depth, so nothing really stuck in my memory, and because of that, the time spent in the theme pavilions themselves wasn't very long.
Most parents with children just ended up killing time at places like "Treasure Island," which is like a kids' cafe. As for the elderly, it seemed like most of them were fans of the trot singers who were performing yesterday. Even though it was the weekend, there were plenty of empty seats in the restaurants.
It would have been much better to provide funding to corporations and have them manage individual theme pavilions, but it seems no companies participated.
It might have been different if they had held it on a smaller scale for 2–3 days with lower admission fees. Since Yeosu has so many other tourist attractions, including plenty of food options.
Actually, we went to a marinated crab restaurant for lunch, and seeing as we had to wait for 100 teams starting from 12:30 PM and didn't eat until 2:00 PM, it seems there were quite a few people visiting other parts of Yeosu for the weekend.
I feel like the Island Expo was flawed from the planning stage.
I felt bad for the volunteers. They were trying their best to make it work.
I don't know how they plan to manage the event for two whole months... It would be better to shorten the duration.
