On September 21, 2023, the [Supreme Court](https://www.lawtimes.co.kr ? news ? articleView) upheld the original verdict sentencing Lee Eun-hae to life imprisonment on charges including murder, attempted murder, and attempted violation of the Special Act on the Prevention of Insurance Fraud. (Her accomplice and lover, Cho Hyun-soo, was sentenced to 30 years in prison.)
Since she was born in '91 and received a life sentence,
If she behaves well during her imprisonment, she would typically be eligible for a parole review after 20 years.
Since she was caught in 2022, she could have been eligible for parole review in 2042...
But since she got caught gambling.... she probably won't be eligible for a parole review until around 2050.
