The YouTube view count patch effect is amazing

I was watching a YouTube channel for overseas Koreans with 3,000 subscribers; before the patch, the average views were around 2,000–3,000, but right after the patch, it's hitting over 70,000.
Even large YouTubers with 1.4 million subscribers are seeing their views jump more than twofold after the patch.
