The rain is signaling the end of summer

The raindrops have grown quite heavy, as if they are pushing summer away.
Once this rain stops, summer will remain only as a memory.
I've almost finished all the sports drinks I stocked in the fridge
and the oolong tea I had saved to drink cold,
so I guess I won't need to buy any more.
