But right before the World Cup, they suddenly said there was a player who is a left wingback/center back with great long-pass ability.
Then Lee Ki-hyuk was suddenly mentioned, got selected for the World Cup, and even played as a starter..

But after the World Cup ended, didn't he give an interview along the lines of "I need to work harder for the national team" or "I need to put in more effort"?
