I really love Japanese romance movies, and even these days, I intentionally look for ones from the 80s and 90s to watch.
But strangely, this movie, which is supposedly the pinnacle of Japanese romance, just wasn't my cup of tea.
Maybe it's because the events don't connect through an intuitive storyline, but it felt a bit tedious.
