Is there anyone else who doesn't prefer Costco??
Whenever I try to go shopping on the weekends, parking is much more difficult compared to other marts, the carts are huge, and both the aisles and the food court are extremely crowded.
They say the quality of meat and seafood is good, but since other manufactured goods are sold in such large quantities, it's a hassle to buy them, eat a little, and then have to stockpile them in the freezer. Others might say they taste good, but once I take food out of the freezer, it's often not even as good as when I first bought it.
They say the quality of US beef, salmon, etc., is very high, but honestly, I feel like it's much better to just buy pork belly or flatfish sashimi. Also, regardless of the price, once I go shopping, I end up buying so much that I spend hundreds of thousands of won, so I don't feel like I'm actually saving money.
I find it much more convenient to shop at Hanaro Mart or other large supermarkets for under 100,000 won when needed, or to just order delivery from Coupang or Kurly when I need something.
The Costco membership fee is also a burden, of course.
Are there any other people who don't go to Costco for these reasons?
