I suspect today's Korean market might be quite unpredictable.
The US market, excluding semiconductors, was in an upward trend like last Friday.
Despite macro issues and CPI exceeding expectations, the sentiment is actually quite good. Excluding semiconductors, that is.
In the case of semiconductors, they fell significantly in the US market on Monday, but considering the decline in the Korean semiconductor sector, they only fell about 1% more than the Korean market.
Regarding macro indicators, oil prices have stabilized slightly, but treasury yields are rising, making things ambiguous.
At this point, I think there is a fairly high possibility of a rebound in the Korean market today... but due to the uncertainty surrounding the US interest rate decision (and the dot plot), it might take a breather..
Anyway, whether it goes up or down, I don't think it will drop significantly.
In the midst of this, the key point will be whether sector rotation occurs from semiconductors, which surged after the Astra launch, into other areas.
