Housing prices have seriously skyrocketed compared to the beginning of this year

This place is a real outskirts area, like, the absolute edge of Seoul.
It's the kind of neighborhood where people ask, "Is that even part of Seoul?"..
A house that was in the low 400 million won range this past March is now over 600 million won lol
And there are only 3 listings available;;
Naturally, there isn't a single monthly rent or Jeonse (lump-sum deposit) option available..
It's not that the people living here aren't selling because they think prices will go up further. It's because even if they sell, they have nowhere else to go.
From what I can see, it looks like everyone is being semi-forced to live here until they die lol
On TV, they say things like "prices rose by 10%" or "prices rose by 15%"
That's all a lie. They've gone up by 50%.
