Unlike conventional vehicles, they have no steering wheel, accelerator/brake pedals, or side mirrors.
Tesla has officially registered 45 Cybercabs and 269 Model Ys, and is currently conducting priority rides for Tesla employees near the Texas factory and on Austin public roads. These will be sequentially integrated into the existing Tesla app-based robotaxi network (which currently operates using Model Y).
The decision on fully commercialized services charging the general public will be determined later, depending on the speed of federal government regulatory approval for driverless vehicles.
