I'm moving to a basement office and want to buy air-purifying plants/live flowers, but will they die quickly?
I'm moving to an office located in a basement this time,
so I'm thinking of buying some air-purifying live plants.
I heard that watering them once every two weeks is fine, so that part is okay,
but I'm worried because people say they will all die soon if there is no sunlight or ventilation..
As for ventilation, we have a heat recovery ventilator, so that should be somewhat fine,
but since it's a basement, there is absolutely no sunlight...
If it were my home, I could at least give them some sunlight on the weekends,
but since it's an office, no one is there on weekends,
and even if I place them by the window, it won't make a difference..
In this situation, it's probably better not to buy live plants, right?
I was thinking of picking a few from this list: ZZ plant, Compacta, Bengal Rubber Tree, Radermachera sinica, Alocasia, Monstera, Traveler's Palm, Areca Palm.
But if they are going to die because it's a basement, I feel like it's better not to buy any at all, so I'm asking for your advice.
