I heard on Bulpen that the younger generation uses DMs instead of KakaoTalk

I don't have much reason to meet teenagers,
but I often meet people in their early to mid-20s,
and they all seem to use KakaoTalk...?
I heard on Bulpen that the younger generation doesn't use KakaoTalk, but is that actually true?
Some people use DMs and some don't,
but everyone I meet uses KakaoTalk.
I was actually shocked, thinking maybe only old people like me use KakaoTalk.
