I was baffled seeing a Japanese athlete win 2:3 on penalties after both sides fought hard but failed to land any successful moves...
If you show consistent, moderate attacks and don't get caught by big moves, you win by receiving fewer penalties. Of course, your defense has to be skilled too.
How can a combat sport be such a boring game...
Taekwondo and boxing are all becoming boring. Judo is the worst among them.
