I'm approaching my late 30s and I have some concerns
My job is quite stable considering I changed careers at 32.
My salary is expected to exceed 50 million KRW next year,
and it looks like it will settle in the 60 million KRW range from the year after.
As for my assets, thanks to a bit of a boom in Samnik this year,
I've grown my assets to the mid-to-high 100 million KRW range (though that's nothing compared to the big players).
I also have a foreign car thanks to my parents' help last year.
Now, all that's left is dating and marriage.
But seeing a high school classmate quit their job at 30 to pursue a Master's and PhD,
and then get appointed as a professor,
makes me feel a bit disappointed, even though I thought I had been living a decent life.
On top of that, I want to have children, but since I haven't even married yet,
I feel an even deeper sense of skepticism.
Yet, just like Kian84 says on "I Live Alone,"
I'm in that state where I want kids but find dating to be a hassle.
It feels like everyone my age left is someone who has a specific reason for not being able to marry, regardless of looks.
What should I do?
Is this just a "first-world problem," and should I just live my life as it is?
Even to myself, it feels like a luxury problem.
