5th Generation Idol Tier List and Brief Analysis (RESCENE, ILLIT, KATSEYE, BABYMONSTER, etc.)

ILLIT - Considered the starting point of the 5th generation in the idol industry. Strong in Korea and abroad, but strongest in Japan.
At a level where performing on Kohaku is a given based on popularity and performance.
KATSEYE - Has built a very solid fandom in less than two years since debuting as SM rookies. Doing well overseas, with many self-produced content videos hitting 1 million views.
BABYMONSTER - YG rookies; simply top-tier overseas, the view counts are on a different level.
MEOVV - The rookie group from The Black Label, founded after Teddy left YG. The songs are cool, and there is much talk about Anna being the top visual of the 5th generation.
izna - Debuted through a CJ rookie audition produced by Teddy. Bang Ji-min is the most famous, but it feels like it's missing just a little something.
KIKY - IVE's juniors from Starship; they hit #1 on Melon with "404," but the fandom isn't gathering as much as expected.
RESCENE - Doesn't really need analysis; their direction is a bit different, but they have inherited the buzz/trendiness of NewJeans.
