Are there really many countries where it is hard to even find food?

I am not talking about the common expression "struggling to make a living."
I am talking literally about nutritional intake for survival.
Excluding countries like North Korea, and excluding special circumstances like wars or large-scale disasters,
are there places like that in the 21st century??
It is truly something how lazy certain ethnic groups can be...
