Wow, even the volleyball world is doing all sorts of things to reduce salaries
video
I've been closely following volleyball news for several years now,
and they seem to be recognizing the internal and external dissatisfaction regarding salaries.
So, for the women's league, they are gradually lowering the individual salary cap.
For the men, it has likely been finalized that the team salary cap will be phased down over the next five years.
Also, starting next year, the men's league will bring in 2 foreign players and 1 Asian quota player,
while the women's league will bring in 1 foreign player and 2 Asian quota players, and all of them will be deployed in matches.
You can't ignore the impact of this.
In the women's league, Asian quota players are currently positioned right after the foreign players,
but what if they use two of them?
In other countries, people will be scrambling to come here.
There aren't many places that pay as much as Korea.
Even so, volleyball club owners hold seminars very frequently
and tend to change the rules quite a lot.
They are very proactive.
The salary issue will also see a lot of improvement within a few years. Phew~
