It's a fact now that Korea is a wealthier country than Japan.

I'm not accepting any rebuttal comments; this is just a fact. There is nothing more to discuss.
I only acknowledge that Japan might be wealthier if we limit it strictly to the elderly population.
First of all, regarding the minimum wage:
Korea is 10,300 KRW, Japan is 10,140 JPY.
But Korea has weekly holiday pay. It effectively jumps up to 12,300 KRW, wow.
On top of that, Korea has severance pay. Japan? They don't.
Even if you experience unpaid wages in Japan?
Even if you report it to the Labor Bureau, they only issue a "recommendation" lol.
To get unpaid wages, the worker has to personally file a civil lawsuit and win lol.
In Korea, you can pretty much get it just by clicking a button to report it to the Labor Bureau.
And taxes. Korean median-income workers pay roughly 12%, while Japan is 24% AAAAAAAAGH.
Even the cost of living is higher in Japan lol.
Only grocery prices are slightly cheaper in Japan.
Rent, utilities, transportation, medical expenses, car maintenance, various service fees, etc.—everything is much more expensive in Japan.
Japan-enthusiasts really need to accept this now..
I also really loved Japanese culture and admired it when I was young,
but in this era, Korea has truly overtaken them. It is an undeniable fact..
Even the future outlook is better for Korea.
