LH's supply target for last year was 179,000 units, but the actual performance was 146,000 units... an achievement rate of 82%. Private land supply is only half of the target. Evaluators state, "It would be 90% if policy adjustments were made." Construction of new builds for purchase also reached only 22% of the target. Last year's September 7 housing supply measures actually decreased the housing supply.
