I met a French woman who speaks fluent Korean over the weekend...

She said she had only been studying Korean for exactly 6 months.
She said that even after coming to Korea with just that much study, she had no major issues communicating...
She is fluent in 6 languages, and she said she only studied each of them for a few months.
Honestly, there are so many Koreans who can't speak well even though they've been studying English since elementary school; I wonder what the reason is?
Is it simply a matter of learning methods?
In other countries, it's easy to see kids who are fluent in 3 or 4 languages...
