In 1997, Dunchon Jugong in Seoul had the highest prices, even surpassing Cheongdam, Banpo, and Daechi.
10 years later, Gwacheon overtook all of Seoul. Another 10 years later, it fell out of the top 10.
Mapo, which used to be outside the top rankings, climbed up to 7th place.
What people want changes with every era, and so do prime locations.
In the past, people didn't even care about being by the Han River.
