Wouldn't T1 be in their best position in nearly 3 years if they just normalized their pick/ban phase?

‌If they hadn't messed up the pick/ban in sets 3, 4, and 5 yesterday, they would have won and moved on.
Although they lost after being overtaken by Gen.G and Hanwha,
there are many cases where they dominate and win at least one set.
Just last year, they were getting crushed 0-3 by Gen.G and Hanwha without being able to breathe,
but this year, they are at a point where they can actually take sets 1 and 2 from them.
One could argue that normalizing the pick/ban phase isn't easy,
but traditionally, T1's pick/ban has been at its worst before Worlds,
only to suddenly improve significantly once Worlds arrives.
For some reason, this year feels like things are looking better than last year.
