Channels that created and uploaded summaries of dramas or movies to YouTube without the consent of the production companies have been caught.
It was revealed that these operators earned 3.7 billion KRW in ad revenue by increasing views through so-called 'binge-watch' videos, which allow viewers to know the entire plot and ending without having to watch the full drama or see the movie in a theater.
