Contacting an ex-girlfriend after getting married

Has anyone ever reached out to an ex-girlfriend after getting married?
If I suddenly feel curious or nostalgic about old memories,
would it be okay to contact her just to say hello?
Since it's been a long time since we broke up, I wonder if it's possible
without any lingering feelings or expectations...
