‌Some people cut hair in a seemingly nonchalant way, but they instinctively know how to cut it perfectly to suit the shape of your head,
while those who are consistently bad at it just stay bad.
I was genuinely shocked to see how well a man in his 50s at a hair salon in a remote corner of Jeju Island could cut hair.
Most hairstylists I've visited in busy areas of Busan couldn't even do half as well as him....
All my prejudices about expensive salons in busy districts have been completely shattered.
