Question regarding wedding gift money for a workplace couple

I only gave a wedding invitation to one of them.
The wedding is next month, but I won't be able to attend.
It feels awkward whether to give enough for both people or not.
What would you do if you were in my position?
1. Give for just one person
2. Give for both (x2)
