Isn't the talk about a "job market freeze" just an exaggeration?

Even excluding semiconductors,
if you look at industries like
shipbuilding, cosmetics, defense, tourism, entertainment, and automobiles,
companies are reporting record-breaking performance.
It's at a level where I wonder if Korean companies have ever done this well before. It's truly beyond imagination.
Of course, they are hiring new employees, and right now, students from technical colleges
in provincial industrial cities majoring in Electrical, Electronic, or Mechanical Engineering are getting into large corporations easily.
At Pusan National University or Kyungpook National University engineering colleges, even those with low GPAs are sweeping up jobs at major conglomerates..
Isn't the claim that "it's hard to find a job" strictly limited to liberal arts majors?
And it's only based on the standards of large conglomerates, right..
I see liberal arts majors easily entering decent small but strong enterprises (hidden champions) around me,
and if they have experience, they even move up to mid-sized companies..
I honestly don't understand what part of employment is supposed to be difficult.
Everyone I know seems to get jobs quite easily.
Of course, you can't do it with nothing at all,
but saying that even engineering graduates with two professional certifications can't get into SMEs like the media claims
is a real exaggeration.
In reality, even engineering students from places like Silla University or Dongmyeong University way down in Busan
with two professional certifications can get into regional mid-sized companies lol
