Does anyone actually want to smoke while causing trouble for others?
I just got home.
It's an older apartment complex, so it has both above-ground and underground parking.
There's a flower bed in front of the main entrance, and many people and children pass by frequently.
But this old man keeps smoking right there.
Even though you can see women and children passing by covering their noses to avoid the smell,
he just keeps on smoking.
So I said, "Sir, there is a designated smoking area over there, could you please smoke there? Who is supposed to breathe in all this smoke?"
He just told me not to nag.
I figured that dealing with a person like that would only give me a headache and make my mouth ache,
so I just reported it to the security office and came inside.
I'm sure other "fire enthusiasts" wouldn't do this, but whether it's smoking on the street or otherwise,
I wish people wouldn't smoke while causing harm to others.
It's not about complaining about the act of smoking itself,
it's about living while respecting the basic boundaries between people, but it's really frustrating.
When he called it "nagging," I realized he's just a hopeless person.
