Because actor Yoo Hae-jin has such strong reliability and a solid image

‌
I heard that "Assassins" surpassed 1.3 million viewers this morning; if we include the substitute holiday on October 5th, it seems likely to easily exceed 3 million..
Even with various controversies currently ongoing, it doesn't seem easy to stop the box office momentum because of his image as an actor people trust and watch.
Also, it is said that people in their 60s and 70s, who typically do not go to the cinema often, are flocking to theaters in huge numbers..
To be honest, while actors like Byun Yo-han and Noh Jae-won in "Tazza," or Han So-hee in "Intern" make great films and deliver excellent performances, they don't seem to have the same level of recognition across all age groups as Yoo Hae-jin yet.
As of now, there hasn't been any message regarding this movie from the political sphere (especially the pro-conservative side) in the news.
In fact, if they do release a message, I think it might actually pique people's curiosity and drive more crowds to the theaters.
