‌Miz (Mizuhara) got shelled today.
It looks like Yamamoto is done as of today.
If we compare just the top 3 candidates:
Miz: 155 IP, 227 K, WHIP 0.79, ERA 1.97, WAR 5.6
Sale: 144 IP, 177 K, WHIP 1.00, ERA 2.06, WAR 5.1
Sánchez: 175 IP, 202 K, WHIP 1.19, ERA 2.52, WAR 7.7
If Miz's ERA goes above 1, I don't think he'll get a landslide of first-place votes?
I thought Sánchez would end up like Wheeler, who got burned by Burns before, but his WAR is definitely overwhelming.
Sale has zero comparative advantage over Miz, so unless Miz self-destructs in the remaining games, it looks tough.
If I had to pick right now, I'd probably raise my hand for Sánchez haha
