They say it's hard to hold out when a large corporation wants you gone

This is a story from an acquaintance
They joined the wrong faction, so they were told to go work in facility management
somewhere like a warehouse
or a greenhouse
There was no air conditioning or heating, so they said they barely survived
Fortunately, after holding out for 6 months,
the executives changed and they were reinstated
But listening to them, they say most people leave because they are sent away to regional sites like this
And now, they say they are doing restructuring again
and everyone with declining performance is being targeted for voluntary retirement
