A great place for a quiet picnic in Gyeongju...jpg

It's the Tomb of King Jinpyeong. I went there today.
When you visit famous tourist spots like Daereungwon, Hwangridan-gil, or Bulguksa these days, you get overwhelmed by crowds, but this place is pure tranquility.
The space is vast and there is plenty of shade, so even if there are quite a few people, it never feels crowded.
It's a great place to spread out a mat and enjoy a picnic, and the walking trail leading to Myeonghwal Fortress is also well-maintained. Highly recommended.
