Korea is much like an island. This is because the territory to the north blocks access to the continent. The import and export of goods rely on maritime transport, and international travel must use aviation. But what if the door to the continent opens? A completely different story unfolds on the Korean Peninsula. A land of opportunity opens, connecting Busan to Europe. We can create growth engines and generate economic benefits in various fields such as transportation, logistics, energy, and agriculture with the countries surrounding the Korean Peninsula. If a northern economic community is constructed, cooperative relationships will be formed, contributing to the prosperity of the Korean Peninsula and the establishment of peace. This is the blueprint aimed for by the New Northern Policy.
