The Avante looks underwhelming in person.

‌I went to see the display car, and while it looked great in videos and images, seeing it in person was... how should I put it? It felt like looking at an old Academy plastic model made of paper. I wasn't convinced at all as to why anyone would buy this instead of a Sonata or a Kia EV series; I can see why it's an unprecedented flop.
