Old Hong Kong's "Crime City" + Anarchy Zone ㄷㄷ

This is Kowloon Walled City.
It used to be an office for the Qing Dynasty's Eight Banners, and this area was also ceded to the UK.
However, the sovereignty of the Qing Dynasty was recognized within the office itself.
But after the fall of the Qing Dynasty, the Republic of China had no capacity to look after this place.
As the Japanese military demolished the office during the Pacific War, people began to reside there.
It became a dangerous, lawless anarchy zone and a slum where the Hong Kong police could not enter,
and both China and Taiwan had essentially given up on it.
After the handover of Hong Kong was confirmed, the Chinese government transferred sovereignty of the area
to the British Hong Kong Governor's Office in the 90s, leading to its demolition; it is now a park.
