I think I have to surrender to the market this year.
When semiconductors were rising, I just sat on the sidelines, and while there was some rotation that led to gains in early to mid-August,
now it's dropping even more than semiconductors, and I'm completely losing interest.
I might just quit for now; the exchange rate is low, so I'm thinking of re-entering if the Korean market rallies and then undergoes a correction.
The current macro situation shows no signs of improving.
Whether it's Trump's dementia causing a loss of judgment or people profiting from wars, between the Middle East situation, oil prices, inflation, interest rates, and bonds... nothing seems to be showing signs of getting better. I'm hanging in there somehow, but the recovery angle and trading volume after the recent drop are poor, and it feels like it might plunge one step further.
