A piece of advice from someone who is good at stock trading
There are a lot of posts about stocks lately
There is no magic way to be good at stocks, but there are certainly ways to increase your win rate
For your information, I have a lot of experience
And at the very least, I haven't lost money in stocks so far
I've tried everything from futures and options to other derivatives
I've also failed many times
But anyway
Stock trading is not about prediction; it is about response
And it is about position sizing
Just remember these two things
Never go "all-in"
If you go all-in and get lucky, you might make a huge profit
But ultimately, it leaves a bad aftertaste because of the habit it creates
Also, do not be impatient
Sell decisively when it is time to sell
And buy decisively when it is time to buy
It's too long to explain in detail, so I'll keep it brief
Even if you are a long-term investor
You should average down when appropriate
And you should average up when appropriate
There are many times when you need to stay on the sidelines for a long time
And when prices go up, they often go much higher than expected
When they go down, they often drop much further than expected
The important thing is whether it will go up or down in the short term
from your entry point
And fundamentally, long-term investing is the right way
Even I thought a certain point was the peak
and I should have reduced my position more
I'm a bit regretful that I couldn't reduce it as much as I intended
It's partly due to the exchange rate, but it did drop more than expected
Generally, the entry point
based on daily charts
is when a correction occurs after a rebound
Entering at this time has a higher probability of success
For now, just watch from the sidelines
But it's also not the time to cut losses
I should have cut my losses two days ago
I'll say it again
Position sizing is the most important thing in stock trading
Good luck
