Wasn't Yoo Hae-jin essentially an accomplice who even had a hand in the screenplay?

Isn't he a proud lead actor at the core of that film, rather than just a pitiful supporting actor who swallowed bitter water just to make a bit of money? Isn't he a participant who read that immoral screenplay and even made revisions throughout it?
