Northern Gyeonggi Province is quite an unfairly treated region.

The local economy
is practically no different from a remote rural area,
yet because it is part of the metropolitan area, it faces heavy regulations.
Also, there are so many areas designated as military zones..
In this recent relocation of public enterprises to regional areas, not a single one went to Northern Gyeonggi.
Seeing things like this,
it makes me wonder if it is a region where development is simply impossible.
