In Korea, laws will only change once the children of lawmakers and legal professionals get stabbed

Laws will only change when cases of their own children becoming victims of these random attacks
start increasing.
The reality is that even if a lunatic like that goes on a rampage, people have to worry
about whether they'll even be granted self-defense lol.
Even if someone commits attempted murder, if they bow down and apologize
in front of the judge, they get a reduced sentence;
and even if you are the unilateral victim, you end up in court for mutual assault,
and the moment you talk back to the judge in anger, you get aggravated punishment lol.
Since these are random attacks, the victims are chosen at random,
so who knows what will happen in the future.
There are so many bottom-feeders out there that these crimes
are more likely to increase than decrease.
