I can't argue against focusing on the Women's Basketball Asian Games moving forward

Due to the schedule, the Women's Basketball World Cup and the Asian Games are held close together.
In some cases, China and Japan split their rosters, sending their first team to the World Cup and their second team to the Asian Games.
For this tournament, Japan formed a separate team from their World Cup squad and competed with their second team.
However, even when the two tournaments overlap, we are a country that sends our first team to the Asian Games
and structures our national team based on the importance of the Asian Games rather than the World Cup.
There were many complaints asking why we do this when the World Cup is a much larger tournament,
but now that we've beaten China once in the Asian Games, the buzz is insane.
Beating Nigeria twice this year should have been much bigger news, but who even knows about that right now?
It seems focusing on the Asian Games is the right move.
