What should I do if a child scratches my parked car? ㅠㅠ

I received a call from the child's parents this morning
apologizing for what happened.
They told me to get a repair estimate
and then get back to them,
but since this is my first time dealing with something like this, I'm not sure what to do.
They said the child scratched the front of the car with a kickboard.
