I've never understood why people used to pay that much for Sang-dong, Bucheon..

‌A friend I was seeing a few years ago lived in the Byzantium apartments in Sang-dong, so I think I spent over a year basically living there semi-cohabitating...
(I remember Byzantium being more expensive than the surrounding apartments back then lol)
The surrounding environment is just so bad...
People say the passion for education is good for that area, but when I was drinking at nearby bars, I'd see dozens of Russian women or bar hostesses walking around with electronic signs, handing out business cards ㅋㅋㅋ
Just one block away, the left block is a private academy district, but the right block is a pure entertainment/red-light district.
Seeing how the apartments around here are now going for roughly 700-800 million KRW based on standard apartment sizes, they really pushed the housing prices up like crazy ㅋㅋㅋ
