I was asked to take voluntary resignation
Since I turned 50, they've been subtly pressuring me, and finally, yesterday, they requested that I take voluntary resignation, claiming the company is going through a hard time.
Even if I receive the request, it doesn't mean I absolutely have to quit, but it's going to be an incredibly uncomfortable situation to stay.
I know some people who have managed to hold on for over two years.
In the end, I feel like I'll have to leave within a year, but I have no idea what kind of work I should do at the age of 50.
Should I even try working in a restaurant?.. Fortunately, I own an apartment worth 2.5 billion KRW in my name... but since it's tied up in real estate,
I can't liquidate it into cash, so I'm wondering if I should rely on my parents ㅠㅠ
What kind of work can I do? I feel like finding another office job at age 50 will be difficult.
