Watching the protests in France

I think this protest occurred because they ultimately ran out of money and had to cut spending, even going as far as cutting the education budget.
However, the costs to repair the shops, roads, and buildings destroyed during these protests will eventually be covered by taxes as well,
so I am not sure what the future holds for France.
Still, since it is a large and prosperous nation, it is probably not something for us to worry about.
