If Jang Mi-ran happened to call or take a taxi

After 10 PM, Jang Mi-ran left her pension residence while looking at her phone. And this is the last footage of her.




However, the area near the pension where Jang Mi-ran was staying consists entirely of rice paddies and fields, with not a single proper shop in sight. The nearest convenience store is about 1.5km away. Where would a woman go walking on these streets after 10 PM? There is nothing to do outside. The area has very little lighting and is quite eerie, making it unsuitable for a night walk. At such a late hour, even the few scattered shops nearby would all be closed, so would she really walk 1.5km to a convenience store? Moreover, she was wearing slippers, so I doubt it. As you can see from the photos below, even during the day, this place is deserted and eerie.
I suspect she might have called a Kakao Taxi, a local taxi service, or hailed a passing taxi. Or perhaps it could have been a "Danggeun" (Karrot) marketplace transaction where someone came by car. I wonder if the police are investigating these possibilities.
